ABOUT US

The AGU (which means in german language ArbeitsGemeinschaft Umwelttechnik) has been producing high-quality waste presses for small and medium-sized companies since 1992. The family business was founded in the mid-80s by the businessman Manfred Greshake. In 2000, his son Frank initially took over production - a few years later also sales. From mid-2006 to October 2017, production was located in Bad Iburg - surrounded by the beautiful Teutoburg Forest.

WE MANUFACTURE WITH THE POWER OF THE SUN.

In November 2017, in keeping with the 25th anniversary, the company moved into a newly built, significantly larger production hall in Glandorf. Here we produce our machines in a largely climate-neutral way. We generate the electricity required for production entirely using photovoltaics. With a storage / cloud combination, we bridge the days and months when the sun shines little or not at all. Except for the production hall, the building is built according to the passive house standard and therefore requires little primary energy. Geothermal energy is used for heating. With a fleet of vehicles that mainly consists of electric vehicles, we also try to keep our CO2 emissions as low as possible.

MODERN TECHNOLOGY.

All AGU products are manufactured with modern laser and edging technology and welded on precise 3D work tables. Thanks to our own offspring, whom AGU has been training for over 20 years, we will continue to have qualified staff in the future. This ensures the consistently high quality of our products.

WITHOUT COMPROMISES. 100% MADE IN GERMANY.

AGU machines only leave the factory for galvanizing. Unlike some of our competitors, we do not manufacture abroad (cheaper), but build the machines here in Glandorf, from the first laser part to the last screw. In our opinion, waste compactors only deserve the title “100% Made in Germany” if the quality can be checked at each individual production stage. Others think that this would only require completion in Germany. Of course, we could produce more cheaply this way and thus gain an advantage on the market in terms of price - but this would contradict our corporate philosophy.

OUR PARTNERS.

Sometimes it is important to be “on site”. Local proximity makes fast service or advice possible, taking local conditions into account. For this reason, we have been looking for reliable and competent partners for years who are able to advise or support you as we would. So we are able to offer our service in Italy and France.
